I chose the maple-bacon donut. After all, everything tastes better with bacon. (Sandie got a simple frosted donut. Yawn.)
Okay, now you’re talking about something I know my way around – donuts! I have made it my business this Fall to seek out & sample fresh cider donuts & I can tell you with authority that you don’t need all those fancy toppings & crazy combos! A fresh, homemade cider donut sprinkled w/ cinnamon sugar is a simple yet perfect culinary indulgence. (Okay, it’s even better w/ a really good cup of coffee!).
