Sokol-Blosser was by a wide margin our best stop. That one up on the hill is Colene Clemens who came here to Oregon because other than France, this is the best place to grow the Pinot grape. On the other side of Sokol-Blosser are the original Pinot vines planted here in the late 60’s by David Lett. Our guide says they’re sandwiched between historic plantings and world class recognition. Not a bad place to be.
